  • Tool to Modify User information in AD

    Hi Everyone:

last month I came across a tool that would allow me to, using a GUI, make changes to all my users in AD at the same time. I think it was a link on a page related to changing the domain name on the default email address for all users. And I think it was on this site I found it.

The tool which is not new; it's been around for a while allows you to select the OU and add the new email address and for example also change the email address that's in the User object in the general tab. It also allows yout to do a lot more stuff.

Does anyone have and idea about what i am talking about? I can't remember the name of it and I need it bad. I think there was a comment about the tool referring to Exchange 2000 and 2003. It also allowed to modify other AD User object properties.

    Thanks for any help.

    It sounds like you're referring to ADModify.NET - http://admodify.codeplex.com/

I Used the active directory manager tool. That works for bulk attribute modification for ad objects.

Really nice. Have a look here for more information.

I believe Hyena also support bulk edit.

Your go-to tool for this should be Powershell though
