    Win2k3 Servers with AD. Mixed in some Win2k8 servers, exchange, virtual servers.

    All of my users can browse all other home folders, this should not happened at all weird. Seems like it just started doing this lately. Network has been up and running since 2008 with no issues.

    everyone is connected properly to the Z drive

    \\myserver\home$\%username%

    I also made sure that the below link is correct...

    but now the Sync doesn't work....

    ok I have to ADD the user AGAIN to their own home folder under the Security tab and give them Full Control.

    what a freaken pain!!!!!

      Sounds to me that the top level share folder may not have been configured correctly and potentially, someone has come along and forced the top level permissions down.
