  • add dll on dc

We are implementing proxy solution and want to use LDAP authentication (AD)
Enabling SSO for user authentication in that product requires installation of supplyer's dll on each DC.

Brief, when user logs in to AD, he should be authenticated on proxy server transparantely.

I have a big doubt that installation of 3rd party dll on DC is right thing.
The dll will allow to let know to proxy who is logged into AD.

I would like to know your opinion about dll installation on DC.

    Thanks.

Suggest you consult the vendor and Microsoft directly, since we havent a clue what product you are installing

      Re: add dll on dc

the product is Fortinet's Fortigate. Only Web Filtering module of the box (it is a firewall in first place) will be used.
I asked a rep if the dll is certified by MS. The answer was - NO.

So it is a good idea to contact MS. But I know the answer
      Probably you too...

May be there are other opinions?

      Thanks.
