  • Upgrade Single level domain

    Hi,

I have a single level active directoy domain "mydomain" and i need to change it to a regular domain "mydomain.local"
    I have two domain controllers:
    1. Windows server 2003
    2. windows server 2008 R2
That's my two domain controllers after upgrading from Domain 2000 SP4.

I know that it is a big deal to change AD domain name sine i also have exchange 2003 that needs to be upgrade to 2010 but, i need to change the AD domain name before.

Is there any guide that can help me doing this
I will be thankful for any help

Just one or two million, according to a very helpful site called
    http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=psy....,cf.osb&cad=b

There is a good article on the parent site: http://www.petri.com/windows_2003_domain_rename.htm
