  • Will ads desktop consume server resource through ads login?

    Hi All,

I am running ADS for thin client where as all the thin clients are consuming the resource from server.Meanwhile i wanted to promote our desktop systems to ADS lo-gin in which i would like to know whether desktop machines consume server resources whilst it has using local hard drives.

Please advise whether its utilize the resource for all the operation done in desktops or for some process.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you saying your DC is also a terminal server? If so, you are risking major security problems.

To answer your question, PCs will access the DC when logging on and periodically afterwards, but not all the time.

How many clients (thin or fat) do you have, and what are the server specs?
