Re: Multi add Computer on profile logon to

Think about using group policy restricted groups to make sure the user has no access to any group on most of the computers -- will require some set up but will be manageable easily later

Adding an allowed computers list falls over at some fairly small number of PCs per user account, so the above dialog is probably not the best way to proceed.

But please ask yourself WHY you need to allow access to 200 computers (out of how many) and deny to others.

            OK, go with restricted groups
2 OUs -- teachers and students
            Put appropriate computers in each
Also add teachers and students to separate security groups
Create a GPO for each OU restricting Users, Power Users, Administrators (and do some googling to see what other groups need to be added)

Re: Multi add Computer on profile logon to

                Slight change of strategy

Step 1: Create 2 OUs, one for students, 1 for teachers computers
Step 2: Put students computer accounts in student OU and teachers in teacher OU
Step 3: Create two security groups, put teacher user accounts in one and students in the other
Step 4: Create a GPO linked to the Teacher OU, go to user rights and add student group to "Deny Logon Locally"
Step 5: Do reverse for Student OU

Yes -- I thought I said that already (computer ACCOUNT = technical term for "computer name")

Why i do define policy "Allow logon locally" have error below message

                      See the image

Administrator muse be grant logon locally

                      How to setting ?

I think if i define allow logon locally less than denny logon locally.

Student can logon Computer Group LAB1 LAB2 follow image.
