  • Potential DHCP conflict?

I have a small business LAN running a single server (Win2000 domain controller with Active Directory). It is set up with dynamic DNS.
In adding a SOHO firewall box with built-in DHCP server, can I expect issues between this dhcp and the DDNS already in place for Active Directory? Should I disable the DHCP with the firewall box?
(I'm a newbie at this. Just want to be sure that I don't have to go through unnecessary steps such as setting the address pools in the win2k dhcp server and the firewall/nat router/dhcp with ranges that don't overlap.)
    I appreciate your patience!

Kill DHCP in the firewall box, otherwise you will have two competing DHCP servers, probably with totally different settings
