  • How do I restore Active Directory from a backup on Windows Server 2003?

I had to re-install my server (server01) from scratch, but before I re-installed it, I made sure I ran a backup. I did backup all system state, etc. After reinstalling my OS, i ran a restore and it failed. I need to know how to restore Active directory from a backup after re-installing my server os. Thank you.

    What was the failure?

Restoring system state is the only supported way of restoring AD
