      Re: DynDns updater

Well I'm trying to follow along in a CBT on how to set up a exchange server. The instructor of the CBT says that if you want to follow along you should get a static IP Address and and domain name. Well I was thinking if I was to use DYNDNS updater I would be able to get a static IP and a domain name and when creating a domain controller in server 2008 I would be able to use bigesmall as the full DNS name for the domain.

You dont absolutely need a static IP for your purposes -- as long as you have something that can be resoved from the internet

        Dyndns is an acceptable solution
