  • Full Trust Implications

Hello, where I work, we need to enable a full trust between our domain and another company domain in order to start working on a consolidation of domains. Currently we have a trust set up between the two domains but is only a two-way non-transitive trust. We need to change this to a full trust. I'm wondering, what does this mean to our end-users? Will they notice any kind of immediate affect by implementing this change? If yes, that what are some of the changes they may notice?

no, they won't notice anything in particular.

they probably already have multiple domains in their logon lists anyway

all it means is they'd be able to access the resourcs in the other domain, and vice versa - by using their source credentials

That is pretty much what I was thinking as well. Right now domain A can get to domain B as long as they use their domain B credentials and vice-versa. As far as I know this shouldn't change.
