  • Forest and Domain functional levels

    Hi there,

If I understood correctly from this article on net (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...(v=ws.10).aspx) forest and domain functional levels are considered *ONLY* if there is more than one domain controller on the domain.

So, if I have Win Srv 2016 acting as DC and another non-dc server (eg: Windows Server 2008 R2) I can set my levels to 2016.

    Is that correct??

    Thanks in advance!

Yes - it is only the OS on the DCs that is important
