    Dear all,

I find the problems as below and want to get help from the expert.
    1. I have 1 domain and have 2 dc (windows 2000)
    2. We have about 3x PC
    3. At the begining, I find some (2~3) pc client say that it cannot login to domain after power off or reboot. It display the account is disabled or password wrong.
    4. I find that 2 dc cannot replicate and do some test (pls refer attachments)
    - ip 7 is main dc and ip 2 is the 2nd dc (filename 2 stand for ip 2 and 7 stand for ip 7)
5 Now the main problem is dc 2 cannot replicate to dc 7.
    6. both have dns and they can update both of them.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Pls tell me step by step in detail!!

    Re: 2dc cannot replicate problem

Sorry, but most readers will not open a Zip file in case its contents are dangerous
You may prefer to re-post as txt files

How about removing the 2nd DC (via DCPROMO) and seeing if clients are OK, then re-build it

        Re: 2dc cannot replicate problem

For me it seems to be the issue related to TCP/IP ports...

        1. Did we introduce any firewall or new ACLs in firewall recently?
        2. Is it a new setup and these are consistent since begining?
