  • Have Many additional DOMAIN CONTROLLER , Redirect Logon

    Dear All

My DC have additional around the world, But in my office network have 2 DC(DC01,DC02) , We use sub-net in site and service for separate network each office , Mostly client authenticate on DC01 some client authenticate on DC02 .
We are shutdown DC02 already. In the future we are promo DC03

How to force client go to authenticate on DC01 only ?

We have problem when we check "Last logon" not show date time on DC01 .

You do NOT want to force logins to a particular DC - what if it is down.

If AD Sites and Services are properly configured, clients will always look for a DC in the local site before going elsewhere. This is by design. Do NOT attempt to change it.

If you are not seeing this, check sites and services are configured properly (sites, subnets in correct sites, and site links for replication

Regarding times, this should not be an issue as long as it is purely time-zone differences and the DC clocks are in sync

And what have you done to check it?
Look at ADSS and your DNS SRV records.

Although IMHO it should not be an issue if occasionally clients authenticate to a different site - the traffic is not massive and as long as they can log in, why worry?
