    Hi,
I was just wondering if someone can help me with this thing?
We have 1 Active directory Server 2012R2 and servers in 2 different geographical locations. Example Frankfurt and Stuttgart. One DC in Frankfurt and one DC in Stuttgart. Sometimes when we try to login to a server in Frankfurt we notice that the DC in Stuttgart is used. How can i enforce all servers in Frankfurt to only use the DC in Frankfurt? Or use this as a first option?

    Check
    a) Sites and Services are correctly set up, with the appropriate subnets attached to each site
    b) SRV records are in place for both DCs (in DNS)

Assuming both are OK, clients loging on will preferentially use a DC in the same AD site as long as it responds, they will then fail over to another site
