  • DSMOD for description field

    So, I ran

    dsquery * domainroot -filter "(&(objectCategory=Person)(objectClass=User)(sAMAc countName=myName))" -attr * -limit 0
and got back a list of attributes. One of those attributes is "description". When I do

dsquery...get the user | dsmod user -description
I'm told "-description" is an unknown parameter. Just for fun, I used the same dsquery/dsmod string, but changed the attribute to "-title" and it worked fine.

My question is, how do I change the user's description from the command line?

    Thanks.
