  • What can i do to fix this problem ???

    Hi All,

    How are you.

    I'm working on Windows 2000 server .I have created A.D, its name is xxxxx.com and I created some users on it .I joined a client computer to the domain .
    The problem is when I try to install any application to the client I can't do that.

    Please,Can you help me.

    what error message are receiving?
    what account do you use to log on to the client?

      hi

      I just created new OU and new user account .
      the message that i'm receiving :
      - Make soure you have approprite privileges on this computer
      - installation of this product requires system administrator privileges.

        well think about those error messages. Maybe you need to logon as administrator to do administrative task.

            when you installed your domain you have used an administrator account.
            check to make sure that account is a member of the domain admins group and use it to log on to the xp machine. this will grant you local admin rights on the xp machine as the domain admins group by default is a member of the local administrators group.

            otherwise create a new user account in your domain, make it member of the domain admins group and use this new account to log on to the xp machine.
