  • dsquery & dsget

Hello, I get a list of OUs with his name and description, but I can not get both.
If I do: dsquery ou ou =external,ou=users,dc=empresa,dc=es -limit 3000 | dsget-dn ou get the name of the OU
and if I do dsquery ou ou =external,ou=users,dc=empresa,dc=es-limit 3000 | dsget ou-desc get the description
How do I get the name and description?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

You should give AdFind (http://www.joeware.net/freetools/tools/adfind/index.htm) a try . This is a very powerful tool which will be able to produce the desired result.

    Regards,

    Duncan

There should be no problems with using DSGET.exe. Can you show the command line that you are using.

      sample,
      Code:
      dsquery.exe ou "ou=external,ou=My users,dc=empresa,dc=es" -limit 0 | dsget.exe OU -dn -desc -L
      \Rems
