  • Server 2008 RODC Recommendation for new Project

Hello. We will plan new project move our old servers to Server 2008 Platform and Install Active Directory. But i have same problems. I could not choose install Subdomain or RODC to my branch office. We have 17 branch office (users 30-60)
I think that, install RODC to branch office and connect branch offices users to RODC .It is possible ?.What is your suggestion?.Sorry my language very slowly.

    Thanks All

Setup Sites and places RODC in the locations. That would be my choice

        What userdata? Fileshares? Profiles?
If a RODC fails, the authentication will flow over the connection to one of your other DC's...

Thanks Dumber. I understood you.My users data temporarily will their own machine. And next year I move their profiles and data to server and i will create roaming profile. But İ am not sure has any limit from Microsoft .How many RODC creat one domain controller and how many users connect one RODC.
          Example.
          1.test.com DC 1 Server
          2. RODC 50 Server
3.RODC users for each branch office (200 users)

          Thanks All

It are just DC's but then without actually changing the Data.
Therefor you always need (some) writeable DC's in your network.

I don't believe there is a maximum of users per RODC.
