  • Windows XP+2K: restore system state on reboot

    Windows XP Pro+2K clients.
    Windows 2003 AD environment.
Users need power user rights on computers.
In order to maintain the OS I am looking for a solution that restores the OS to my original configuration on reboot. Sort of like a mandatory user profile for the OS?

    Please advise

      Hi Biggles,

I'm open to all suggestions, both Hardware and Software, because at the moment I don't know all the options.

I was thinking along the lines of a GPO within Windows Server2003 Active Directory.

      Thanx for your help

          Hi Noam,

The Magic Card will definitely do the job!
It's way over budget though. The solution will be implemented in a college with about 200 computers.

          Thx for the info.
