  • Replication problem after DC crash in child domain (split)

    Hi

I have a primary domain controller "pdc.com" and a additional controller for the same. Under this pdc there are 2 child domains child1.pdc.com and child1.pdc.com.
Even for the child domains we have additional domains.(so there are 6 server).

a week back main server for child1.pdc.com crashed due some hardware failure. I rebuilt this server. now the replication is not happening between pdc.com and child1.pdc.com. what could be the issue? Do i need to move certain roles in between the servers?

I really appreciate your help in advance.....

Might be that the few ref were left for earlier DC. Would recommend to gracefully demote and re-promote this new DC..
