  • Want to use non-standard attributes buildingName, roomNumber

    Hi !
there are some attributes such as buildingName and roomNumber that my organization wants to use. I see them appearing as part of the default AD schema (Win 2003 Enterprise Server) but they seem not to be accessible from the GUI.

I would like to have them appearing in the User snap-in or in the new-user dialog so that when the operator creates the user he/she can populate them, and access them thereafter for maintenance.

Can you point me in the right direction ?

    Thanks in advance !!!

Create new attribute from scheme console window and include that attribute in user class. Properties of user class contains attributes tab, in that add new attribute in optional tab.

      Hi,

I don't think it's very easily done as it involves some programming.
