  • AD 2008 - SSO with Linux

    Hi all,

Hopefully someone can point me in the direction of a KB Article or white paper, etc. I'm working on a project at the moment, and part of it involves rolling out a brand new AD infrastructure and having a collection of linux servers using Active Directory for authentication. Hence the Single Sign On.

However after trolling the net for hours i can t seem to find any information specific to Windows 2008 and configuring AD to allow Linux Clients to authenticate against it.

If someone could point me in the right direction here i'd greatly appreicate it. Apologies if this is not the most relevant section.

    Hi Ryzz,

    Try this out
    http://anothersysadmin.wordpress.com...in-ubuntu-804/
    http://developer.novell.com/wiki/ind...Authentication
    http://www.screenage.de/blog/2008/02...n-with-ubuntu/
    http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-int...in-ubuntu.html

It's for Ubuntu but it should get you going. After all AD is just an LDAP db.
