    I'm new to AD.
    Could someone please tell me what is active Directory Autonomy and what are the benefits i can get from that.

        You would go for autonomy to reduce the workload of high level administrators. Effectively, you give other groups etc. the ability to manage their own data or services whilst maintaining ultimate control yourself.
