  • Export the whole directory.

    Hi,

Does anybody lnow how to export every single object from Active Directory to another one?. The task is quite difficult.

We're working with Identity Manager from Novell.

First of all, we've to create the development environment. This environment hast to be isolated to the production environment.

In the production environment we have two active directories. The first one is working on 2003 native mode and the second one working on 2000 native mode. Is there any way to export the whole active directory from the production environment to the development environment. We want to have a clon, the same structure, the same objects, teh same contexts.

    Thanks in advance.

It will be worth researching ADMT on google. This allows AD to be migrated to another server. However, I am unsure whether it works with Novell migration. You will need to setup an external trust to allow the migration.

      Hi Virtual,

      Thank you for your help.

I feel that I'm gonna to do it with my best friend 'ESX Server'. Here we have an interesting article about cloning active directory with virtual machines.
