What's the best way to restrict access to certain servers ?

I have the luxury of having very high specced machines for fairly simple tasks, like my DC1 and DC2 are HS21 blades with 8 cores and 16gb ram each. For a mere 140 users.

As a result of this other departments install background jobs and random crap on the machines. How can i restrict logon access to specific machines? Surely theres a simple way to do this, maybe a container with the servers i want to prevent being accessed with a policy slapped on it ?

I assume you have W2K3. As far as i know the domain users can't logon to DC unless they have been given access. Domain admin rights. Check if this so

alternatively you can restrict the logon to the set of computers

user account properties > Accounts > Log on to

check and let me know if it resolves ur issue
    Thanks & Regards
