  • Assign local admin rights to domain roaming user profiles

    Hi,

I wanted to know if it is possible to assign admin rights to roaming domain user profiles on local domain computers.

I work in a office where users need to log on to any machine using roaming profiles.

However a particular application that is used requires admin rights on local machine.

When roaming users log in they cannot use the application because of admin right.

Can this be achieved through group policy linked to th OU to which the computers belong too?

    thanks

    Ashish.

Please add "domain users" group as local admin account. You can do it by using logon script or GPO -The easy way is computer logon script.
