  • Domain Users Can't Print to a Shared Printer

    Hey Guys...

    Happy New Year....

I have a domain with a 50 users... and i have a printer installed on one of the client (user02) printer is HP 1600... i shared the printer... and the user02 can print normally...

Now when i'm trying to print from any other client (any other user) the job stuck and didn't run until i restart the service ( Print Spool) on the use pc which the printer is attached to (user02)... but when i login as an administrator to any client and print it's printing smoothly without any problem

    any idea guys ???

    Anything in the event logs?

Try logging into a machine as an administrator and printing something. Then try the same machine as a standard user. Does it work now that the drivers are installed on that client?

Does the user have the right to install printer drivers?

What are the permissions in the Security Tab on the printer?

Disabling bidirectional support worked for me

                  Try this:
