    Does anyone know the DSQuerry command to find what OU a user or computer belongs to

    or a easy way of finding OU Membership.

    dsquery ou finds all OU's
    dsquery * -limit 1000 finds everything
    dsquery user -name "users name" finds the LDAP name of the specified user on the server.
    gpresult /user username /scope user will give you a full rsop printout of membership, ou's everything on that user.

    You can do dsget with -members or -memberof switches but they probably take a bit longer to getright than the above commands.

        in aduc u can right click the domain company.com and choose find, change the drop down from users n groups to computers and find it that way.
        Please remember to award reputation points if you have received good advice.
        I do tend to think 'outside the box' so others may not always share the same views.
