  • dhcp configuration for multiple scopes for multiple vlan

    hi,

we are setting up new domain where we have total 8vlans for each department.for ex:172.16.20.x/24 to 172.16.28.x/24.here the ip ranges will change the subnet will remain same.i need to create multiple scopes in dhcp for each vlan.that perticular vlan should pool the ip from perticular scope. Is it possible to create multiple scopes in dhcp with same subnet mask.bcoz when i am creating the scope it is giving the error message like the address range and mask conflict with an existing scope is coming .kindly help me any one in this regard.Advance thanks for helping me in this regard.

Can you edit your post to make it more readable.
I'm missing some capital letters and don't understand all the slang...

Anyway, Yes you can create multiple scopes with the same subnet mask as long as your network ID doesn't overlap.
