does anyone know if it is possible to show the OU an object resides in on the search results in active directory? it doesnt appear to be an option in the standard columns you can choose, but I thought there might be a work around?

    cheers for the help

A strange shortcoming, agreed! My workaround is to enable the Advanced view in ADU&C, then search for the object, and look in the Object tab to see where it lives. Not elegant, but it works.

The beauty of CLI... you can always specify to output the object's DN

If your doing what i think you are doing....

The easy option is in the search window, select View - Choose Columns and add the "Published At"..

From now on the full path to the searched object will appear in the search results..
