  • AD DNS auto registration of webservers with multiple IP's

    Hello
I have a issue where we have ~25 servers in a w2k3 domain ~400 websites each server (had 2-3 ip adresses) will now have about 9 ip address assigned to it we are switching all sites to be ssl capable which is why so many ip's on each server (one for each site).

But i was wondering shouldnt windows DDNS register all ip's assigned to and interface into dns and there for create ptr records?

if so what do i have to do to make it work currently it will only register the Primary ip address for the interface. and all adittional ips have to registered manually

If not any idea if there is another way to automaticly update those records with a script/scheduled task daily?

    any help would be appreciated.
