  • importing multiple contacts

dear all, i have a 2003 / 2000 network with ad on it, and an exchange 2003 server.

i work in a school and for various reasons we are having the students email hosted externally to the school, but our people want to be able to send to them, picking up their (students) details from the GAL, now I can sort this part of it easily, with a an account with a redirect via a contact to the external host.

my problem is i have to do this for nearly a 1000 students, and i wondered if anyone knew of a tool that i could use to suck the info from a csv file and stick in the right ou, i have seen that ms do the one that came with 2000, is that my best bet, or does anyone know of t a 3rd party one, free if possible?

    cheers, hope its enough info.

      Re: importing multiple contacts

hi, thanks for that, i want to import the contacts so that we can have them in some distribution lists on outlook, do you know the structure that I have to have in place to achieve this? so they need to be mail enabled contacts, does that help or hinder it?
