    Hi

    I have windows 2000 domain as abx.com with 2000 server service pack 4, i do want to add the windows server 2003 as an additional domain controler i tried adding it to my abx.com domain but give error

      That's correct. You need to run "Domain Prep" and "Forest Prep" from your Windows Server 2003 CD. If you are installing Windows Server 2003 R2, you need to run the same from DISK 2 of the installation set.

      EDIT: Sorry Dumber I think we posted about the same time LOL.

        Also pay attention if you are using exchange on Windows 2000 server, then you need to do few extra lines to execute.
