  • Active Directory query filtering question...

    Hello & Good afternoon,

I am very new to Active Directory and have only been working with it for just over a year now.
One of my company directors has approached me and asked me to print him off a list of users within my OU that have their passwords set to "Never Expire".
As I have around 700 users I dont want to single handedly go thru each one's profile to find out whether they have this set and was wondering if I could set up a query within AD that will give me my desired list?

Can this be done? If so, could anybody give me any assistance as to how to do this?
Many thanks for your time & efforts!

    Spec:

Active Directory Users & Computers version: 5.2.3790.1830

Download and install ADManager from AdventNet (ManageEngine). This program has some pretty nice reports including a report for users whose passwords are set to never expire.

      GUI Way of doing it:
      • Go to Active Directory Users and Computers ADUC.
      • In there There is a folder called Saved Queries.
      • R Click | New | Query >> New Query window opens. In there
      • Give the query a name
      • On the Query root section Browse to your OU.
      • Click on Define Query
      • New window Opens
      • On the Name Dropdown List choose Has a Value
      • Tick Non expiring Passwords
      • Click OK to close that window and
      • Ok again to run the query
      • The results will be displayed on the right hand side.

To Export the List in Csv or Txt format:
      • Right click on the Query name you just created
      • Click on export list

And that should do the trick.
