  • Enumerate tombstore using LDAP

Is there a way to enumerate tombstone entries in AD using LDAP?

(I apologize for the editing. I thought I was editing my reply and not the original post.)

Would AD Explorer from Sysinternals do the trick for you?

      <shameless plug> There is ADRestore.NET I wrote: http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/g...t-rewrite.aspx

      It's C# and uses S.DS

If you are looking for some code examples, take a look at Ryan Dunn's blog: http://dunnry.com/blog/ResurrectingT...oryOrADAM.aspx
(I based my own tool extensively on his examples)

The idea is to bind directly to "Deleted Objects" container using WKGUID DN notation and using it as search base, while setting "Tombstone" property of DirectorySearcher to True - it's all there at Ryan's blog

        Thank you both!

Short and to the point. Joy.
