  • Centralized user management

We have a few Domain Controllers on our work networks 4 V-lans.
Anyway we want to centralize all user management from these 4 DC's to on one server.

    Is this possible?
    Any info in appreciated.

    DSA.MSC?

Those Vlan's does not really matter from Active directory point of view, you can manage all your users within your domain through DSA.MSC. The domain is the boundry, vlan isn't. Your domain can contain multiple Vlan's, Sites.

      Re: Centralized user management

I think you want that user management should not be possible from rest three VLans............

If that is the requirement then you need to go to Windows 2008 as we have the concept of RO-DC (Read-Only DC) in 2k8 and we can install RO-DC in those sites where we donot want any changes to be happen.

But no luck in 2k and 2k3..........
