  • LDAP - some users cannot login

    Hi guys

    So.. i have this situation:

    W2k3 Active Directory (Master Global)
    W2k3 Active Directory (Secondary Global)
    500 Users +-
    DC=xxx,DC=xxx,DC=com,DC=br (I have tryed some others too)

    So.. Im trying to use ldap with a sotfware developed by my company
    BUT when I try to login with SOME user they doesnt login.
    The Administrator user cannot login like other simple users, but my user that
    is administrator too CAN login. I got a LDAP Browser Software to test
    and i purchased the same error:

    80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525, vece

    Im desperate, I dont know how to do.

    It seems that it can't find the username that you're putting in.

    Have you tried using the UPN ([email protected]) instead of the DN?

    One thing to note is that the Users container in AD is not an OU.
    Valid:
    Code:
    CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=xxx,DC=com
    Invalid:
    Code:
    CN=Administrator,OU=Users,DC=xxx,DC=com

        No, just [email protected]

        Did you check your syntax for the other users that don't work?

          Where I can check the syntax?

          The same mode that I use for login John, exemple, I use for Mark.
          They are in the same place, but John can login and Mark can't.

          I think have some User Propriety about that, but I can't find.

            If you could share the LDAP query for both of them......Would be very helpful.

              Syntax is "the rules governing construction or formation of an orderly system of information." Checking your syntax is basically making sure there's no typos.

              Like kapilsharma11 said, if you could post what you're entering (I'm interested in the Administrator user) that would be helpful.

                  The string that you put in to the program...
                  e.g. CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=xxx,DC=com
