  • Trust problem

I'm trying to setup a trust between 2 domains. 1 is called HQ.COM (this is the main domain) and one is called SITE.LOCAL. I can setup an outgoing trust from SITE to HQ but not a two way trust. If I do that, that always ends in a "windows cannot fiond a domain controller for the domain" / "there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request".

This is what I've done so far:
    a) DNS on both servers have a secundairy zone pointing to the other DNS server.
    b) Transfered DNS between the servers.
    c) I can ping HQ.COM from the SITE dc, and ping SITE.LOCAL from HQ dc (or workstation)
    d) On the SITE dc I can setup an outgoing trust with HQ and validate it.
    e) Not able to create an incoming trust on SITE.
    f) The trust created on SITE is created in HQ as an incoming trust.
    g) When I try to validate it on HQ, it gives me an error stating that "Windows cannot find a doamin controller for the SITE.LOCAL domain".

    Any clues?
