  • Can not edit login script- permissions?

We are assigning a login script via GPO. The login script is:

My problem is that I need to edit the logon script to change a drive assignment, but when I try to edit the file above I get:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
I'm a Domain Admin, and Domain Admins have Full Control on this why can't I open it?

If you are editing it from the path (trying to access the file directly) that is probably the problem. Try editing it by accessing it from the GPO. From the GPO go to the logon script setting and bring up the properties, then click the "Show Files" button, then in the window that opens, right click the file and select "Edit".
