  • AD unification

    Hi.

I have several independent domains and I want to integrate it into just one domain. I want to create a organizational unit for each domain and I want to know if I can copy other domains parts into the new one.

    Thanks for your help.

What do you mean by "copying parts of other domains"?

You can migrate objects between domains using the ADMT (Use google to search). Your also going to lose the ability to have different password policys per OU.

      Re: AD unification

I mean copy a domain to an OU of the new domain. Imagine this situation :

      DOMAIN1
      - Computers
      - Users
      - ...

      DOMAIN2
      - Computers
      - Users
      - ...

This two domains should be integrated into a new one :

      INTEGRATEDDOMAIN
      - OU DOMAIN1
      - Computers
      - Users
      - ...
      - OU DOMAIN2
      - Computers
      - Users
      - ...

There are lots of domains with users, policies, etc and I want to automate this process. May I use ADMT for this task?

      Thanks Michael.
