I have one win2000 server (member server). Now when I tried to renew the IP address from a DHCP server, it gives the following error.

The following error occurred when renewing adapter Local area Connectiom: DHCP server unreachable.

Can anybody help me in this?

The error says you cannot find your DHCP server. Fix the network connectivity problem and you fix the error. From your post, I assume you have other servers on your network (at least one running DHCP). By the way, you may want to rethink using DHCP for a Server. Best practice for servers is to use a static IP address.
