  • Installation problem

Hello everyone. I just followed the instruction to install the active directory on Server 2003, but I found out there is another _msdcs.mydomain.com record in my DNS server. Is it ok to have mydomain.com and _msdcs.mydomain.com on my server together? Is there anything wrong about my installation? Any help.

No, this is normal (Microsoft) DNS

the msdcs.mydomain.com has all the SRV records used by Active Directory to hold domain controllers, catalog servers and the like.

    Just leave it alone!
