  • Rights delegation problem.

    Hi,

I am having a win 2003 primary domain controller as well as one additional DC on my site. Then I installed add. DC On another site. For joining the PC to domain I had created user account & delegated rights to JOIN PC TO DOMAIN. upto this everything was OK. but when I implemented additional DC on 2nd site on the same day I was unable to join the computer to domain by same user ID & password which was created for the purpose of joining PC to domain. It shows "Access Denied" but when I add that userID into Domain Admins group I can Join the PC to domain. I checked with delegating rights again, by using the different user names or deleting & recreating the user but no luck. Does anyone has face this kind of problem?

One more thing when I open Active directory users & computers on any client it opens through connecting any domain controller from any site. Is it because all are additional DC? Please tell me if you have any solution.

    Regards,
    Shrikant
