I get a problem when seeing users home folders when logged on as administrator. I went into the active directory snapin i went into the users properties and in the profile path i put in the appropriate path.\\servername\users\username, i log on as that user and everything is ok at the user level. Log on as administrator i try to access their home folder i get an access denied message when attempting to access their home folder. Users is shared out to the everyone group as default has full control on the users folder. I try to modify the NTFS permissions with no success as there is noone in the ACL list and everything is greyed out. Also the root of the drive letter where users home folders rsides has full control for administrator.

I logged on as that user again, deleted their home folder logged back on as the same user home folder regenerated itself, logged on and on as administrator and i was able to access the home folder.

Is there a crucial step that i missed out in creating the profile? any help is greatly appreciated.
