  • using mandatory profiles

firstly : going into a profile and changing from .DAT to .MAN doesn't work as per microsoft says. when the user logs on a new .DAT is created.

Also is there a quicker was other than going into each profile? (registry maybe?)

OK if this is done and we have a roaming profile, if I (admin) install software onto a client pc how does this get used by the user as the profile won't save it and the icon won't be there when they log on.

    this has me stumped !
