  • Database Attaching Access Denied

    Hi all

I am running SQL Server 2005 which is installed on c drive.
I copied another database from another computer to my D drive.
Now i want to attach this database to my existing SQL Server, it says access denied. My login has all the credentials.
    Please advise

    Thanks

    Re: Database Attaching Access Denied

Is this full SQL server or SQL express?
How are you attaching the dB?
Where/when do you get the message, and what is the full text (screenshot please)?
Does your account have SysAdmin or DBCreator role membership?
What permissions do you have on the directory on D containing the database and log files?
