  • How do I query within SQL 2008?

    Hi

    Im trying to query our sql database to lookup client names, as my knowledge of SQL is none existant I thought Id ask if anyone can help?

    If Ive been shy with the info please let me know what else you need

    Not knowing the database structure means that it will be impossible to give a precise answer, but in general
    Open SQL Server Management Studio
    Click the NEW QUERY button
    Type USE <name of database>
    Click Execute
    Type SELECT * FROM <name of table containing client list>
    Click Execute
