  • How to back up PST file incremental

I have SBS 2000 server with 10 laptops.
The laptops are out of Israel most of the time in low class hotels.
The laptop read mail via pop 3, and they have local PST file the average size is 500MB.
(VPN is not an option in those kinds of hotels due to very pure connection)
Once in a while they appear in the office and I would like to backup their PST file.
Is there any way I can backup those file?
    1. Without asking the users to press a button (in the login script)
    2. Without waiting more than few minutes?

    Any idea will be appreciated

I suggest you to download from microsoft's site a add in for outlook 2003 named pfbackup.exe. it will add a feature name "backup" which will guide you through a wizard and backup up your mails, contacts and notes in a single pst file.

DataMills has a solution that scans PSTs on workstations and archives them up incrementally.

They also has a solution to archive mailboxes directly from Exchange serbver.
