  • Deleted Items Tracking

We have a few important mails either being deleted accidentally or by error by the users on a resource mailbox. The current setup is the users add the resource mailbox as a secondary mailbox to their own outlook profiles and this way, if the mails are deleted, the mails would move into the deleted items folder of the their personal mailbox and not of the resource mailbox.

Can something be done to have a track of these messages which are deleted or is it possible to have the deleted mail move into the deleted items folder of the resource mailbox rather than that of the user who deleted it.

Any suggestions to resolve the issue would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

It may be overkill, but consider setting up an Archive of all messages (Mailbox Store -- Properties)

This catches all emails except public folder messages
