  • Apply View Changes to Multiple Folders in Outlook 2007

    Hi all

    I have Outlook 2007 (Exchange 2003) and wish to change the view for all my folders so that I can auto-preview all emails. I can do this within my Inbox by selecting

    View->Current View->Define view
    Highlighting 'Messages with Autopreview' and selecting Modify
    Then selecting 'Other Settings' and changing the setting to Preview All Items

    The question is how (if possible) do I replicate this change through to all folders (upgrade to Outlook 2010 not being the answer I am looking for )

    Cheers

    Jim

    As long as you are redefine your standard view it should be replicated down to all other folders. Otherwise try to make a new view (as a copy from a standard view) and define that it should be present for all email folders.

      Hi ChristianKj,

      Thanks for the reply but the whole point is that it does not filter down. There is an option in Outlook 2010 I believe but not in Outlook 2007.

      I am unsure how I would make a 'New View' in Outlook 2007, I cannot see an option for this.

      Thanks

      Jim
